The hotel is owned and personally run
by Paddy and Olive O'Gorman, who endeavour to make your stay as enjoyable and
comfortable as possible.
The hotel is situated in an idyllic
location making Glasha the ideal base for a touring holiday, an activity
holiday or a relaxing break.
For those not wishing the challenge
of the Comeraghs or the Knockmealdowns after breakfast, there are beautiful
scenic circular road walks from the house where you can hear the birds singing
or see little lambs jumping in the fields in the spring time.
Glasha was built about 160 years ago
and has been expanding ever since. The name 'Glasha' originated from Glaise -
meaning a small stream which still can be seen today.
